Love is the Substance of My Life

Love is the substance of all life, and life is always giving itself to all the living. Therefore, my life is now held in love’s embrace, and all the activity now vitalizing my mind and my body is the activity of love. Because I know this, I am unafraid of anything now occurring within me. All emotion, all feeling, whether positive or negative in human terms, is the action of love eternally moving to bring greater life to me.

My reality is beyond any conflicts in my mind and any pain in my body. This means there is always something much greater than any bad or fearful feelings happening to me. And this greater thing is also happening for me. It is life creating me anew in love.

I turn entirely away from popular beliefs that encourage me to fear and resent pain and trouble. There is no value in this. It is not the way to healing. Because I know what I know, I look down upon all difficulties in my experience, certain that I am living above it all and that I am something greater than it all. As I acknowledge this and rejoice in it, love, the real substance of life in me, sets me free.
