All the goodness that ever comes to life begins with the desire for it. The Universal Intelligence is moved into creative action by Its own desiring heart. In creating me, It passed on to me a full measure of Its desiring nature and the intelligence to fulfill that nature.

Therefore, I affirm that every desire coming into my heart is a desire for good, and by action of my creative thought, I find the intelligence to fulfill that desire in goodness. Because I realize this, I am ready, willing and able to know that there is never anything to criticize, fear or repress about the desires of my heart. I commit myself to resolutely and persistently turn away from each and every temptation to do so.

I know that all desire comes from God and, therefore, must be good. And I know that all intelligence also comes from God and, therefore, must lead me to the right expression of all my desires. By action of this treatment, my concept of the power and rightness of my heart and mind is permanently enriched and expanded. I turn back now to the living of my life in new clarity and strength and let it be so. For so it is.
