I
Let Go of Yesterday and Embrace Today
I
believe in God, the all-inclusive, loving power of good. Since
God is Life and Life is the full action of today, then God lives within
the present moment and activity. I am that Life since I am born of God.
I relinquish yesterday, no matter how precious, to the livingness of
today. I gather all of my forces in a unifying action of thought, and I
move forward into the new, into new goals and purposes.
I
am that Total Self in action that I was created to be, and
so,
I take today and make of it something inspiring and uplifting. It is
what I choose it to be, and I make the choice for accomplishment and
success. Today has its own special work; this today is the unfoldment of
my consciousness of Truth, and I am equal to it all. All that I do
today is fresh,
alive and exciting because I release that which was and fully embrace
the today action of a today power.
I
am grateful for that which was, but I am even more thankful for that
which is — my ability to love, to laugh, to prosper, to thrive on the
golden opportunities that are at hand. I rejoice in today.
